Absolutely not! Many times, people are scared to be hypnotized, for fear of being put in an embarrassing situation, or out of fear of being mentally manipulated. (I completely understand this, as I have seen other hypnosis shows that certainly “cross the line”.)

In fact, I have created an entirely different show (I Can’t Believe It’s NOT Hypnosis!), which has the same results of a hypnosis show, but without hypnosis being used. Instead it uses psychology and suggestion while everyone is wide awake.
